Students who are legal residents of Vermont can contact the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) for information regarding grants and scholarships which can be utilized at WVU.

Prior recipients of Vermont funds may see anticipated awards on their financial aid for upcoming academic years. Funding is not guaranteed until WVU receives notice of the award and eligibility requirements from Vermont. The institution is normally notified around the beginning of each semester of eligibility (after the add/drop period). There may be additional steps that need completed with VSAC order to secure funding.

Funds from Vermont are not received in time to apply to students' bills for the semester. They are normally received approximately 6 to 8 weeks into the semester. Please plan accordingly.
