Loans

Loans are borrowed funds which must be repaid, usually with interest.

Based on student type, there is information below regarding types of loans available, how to apply, and additional requirements which may need completed for the loan to disburse.

Not Eligible for Loans:
  • International Students: International students are not eligible for federal loans. If international students choose to pursue loans from private lenders, they normally are required to have an endorser/co-signer who is a US citizen or US permanent resident with good credit who has lived in the US for a certain period of time.

Undergraduate Loans

The following loans may be offered to undergraduate students: first-time freshmen, transfer, and current.

The Federal Perkins Loan program ended in September 2017. Under federal law, schools are no longer able to offer Perkins Loans to students. If you are in repayment, visit our Federal Perkins Loan webpage for more information.

Graduate and Professional Loans

The following loans may be offered to graduate or professional students. Please note that Pharmacy (PharmD) students with no prior degree are considered professional undergraduates for the first and second years of the program. See the Undergraduate Loans section above for options.
