Types of Summer Financial Aid

Please note that not all types of financial aid are available during the summer semester.

Summer Gift Aid: This is financial aid that usually does not need to be repaid.
Summer Federal Work-Study and Student Employment: These are part-time employment opportunities for students. These funds are earned as paychecks as students work throughout the semester and do not apply directly to students' institutional charges (bill) as payment. Please note that Federal Work-Study is not always available for the summer semester.
Summer Borrowed Aid: This is financial aid that has to be repaid (loans).
