Loans

Loans are borrowed funds which must be repaid, usually with interest.

Based on student type, there is information below regarding types of loans available, how to apply, and additional requirements which may need completed for the loan to disburse.

Not Eligible for Loans:
  • International Students:   International students are not eligible for federal loans.  If international students choose to pursue loans from private lenders, they normally are required to have an endorser/co-signer who is a US citizen or US permanent resident with good credit who has lived in the US for a certain period of time.

Undergraduate Loans

The following loans may be awarded to undergraduate students: first-time freshmen, transfer, and current.

Graduate and Professional Loans

The following loans may be awarded to graduate or professional students.  

Please note that Pharmacy (PharmD) students with no prior degree are considered professional undergraduates for the first and second years of the program.  They would need to select "Undergraduate Loans" above for options.
